FANES POEM MUSICAL \u2013 THE MUSICAL POEM OF THE DOLOMITES<\/h3>\n

Fanes Poem Musical is an\u00a0experimental opera for soprano, orchestra and choir<\/strong> with original llyrics by Roland Verra<\/strong> and original music by\u00a0Susy Rottonara<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

The Musical Poem Fanes<\/strong>\u00a0was composed in 2009, in the year of the declaration of the Dolomites World Natural Heritage by the UNESCO and in the same year it was\u00a0staged for the first time with educational purpose in the natural setting of the Dolomites.<\/h4>\n

The music of the\u00a0Musical Poem Fanes<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0tells the legend of Fanes with an emphasized dramatic approach underlined by archaic melodies in an experimental style, where past and present, dream and reality are bound to the magic atmospheres of the legend.<\/h4>\n

Some of the music developed in the Musical Poem Fanes has been composed as\u00a0music score\u00a0of the ladin film\u00a0Le R\u00ebgn de Fanes (The Reign of Fanes)<\/strong> and was recorded for the first time in 2009 with an arrangement sung and played by the author herself in the\u00a0album<\/strong>\u00a0Dreaming of Fanes<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, the first album sung in Ladin that has ever participated at the Grammys and that was included in the entry list of the category \u201cBest Album of the Year\u201d at the 53. Grammy Awards (2009).<\/strong><\/h4>\n
